Out and About

‘Children’s knowledge and understanding of the world around them and of their local community are enriched by a range of visits to local museums, theatres and parks.’
ISI Report 2016

All of the School from Nursery upwards takes advantage of the opportunity our proximity to London affords us with regular trips to museums, galleries and theatres. We also regularly visit Richmond Park and Kew Gardens.

In the summer term all of the boys in the Senior Department go away on residential trips staying at activity centres or carrying out curriculum based activities. For the Year 8 boys an exciting post Common Entrance programme gives them a flavour of a range of activities. There are always plenty of other exciting residential trips to choose from – the Classics trip to Italy, the French trip to Normandy, the bi-annual ski trip and sports tours.

These trips are always tremendous fun and help to develop a feeling of community and shared experience.
