Senior Department

Age 8+ years   Year 4. 
Three mixed-ability classes in their own classrooms each with a form teacher.  They are taught by subject specialists for most subjects.

Age 9+ years   Year 5. 
Two mixed-ability classes.  They visit subject specialists for all subjects.  The year-group is split into two sets for English and Maths.

Age 10+ years Year 6.  
Two mixed-ability classes.  Latin classes begin.  The year-group is split into three sets for English and Maths and two sets for French and Latin. 

Age 11+ years Year 7.
Three streamed classes for all subjects. They have a form tutor responsible for their pastoral needs .

Age 12+ years Year 8. 
Three streamed classes as Year 7.
