Year 7 Trip to Shakespeare's Globe

YEAR 7 ANNUAL TRIP TO SHAKESPEARE'S GLOBE

As part of this term's Shakespeare study Year 7 visited Shakespeare's Globe on Bankside. In two groups the boys were shown round this extraordinary replica of the original Globe and given some background about the theatre in Shakespeare's time. The tour guides, actors from the Globe company, then conducted each group in a lively workshop based on the play Macbeth which forms part of this term's work in English.

Following the Globe visit we turned our attention to Design Technology and walked along the river to the London Eye looking at the bridges. The boys drew sketches of bridges and took photographs for a project on bridges.
