Ski Trip
SKI TRIP 2010
This Easter, boys from Year six, seven and eight, along with three teachers travelled to Serreda di Folgaria, in Italy, for a ski trip. We were greeted in Verona by a hot sun beating down on us at 24 degrees centigrade. Unfortunately, after a 1 hour 30 minute coach drive to our ski resort the temperature was not as exciting.
Throughout the trip the ski slopes were very good, as was the level of skiing shown by some of the boys. The instructors helped everyone, from first timers to experienced skiers to become much better at the sport.
Although it was a ski trip we were also able to fit in other activities in the afternoon after our four hours of skiing. We got the chance to go ice skating, which was very exciting for some of the boys. Swimming was also an option for us. It was a good chance to relax our muscles after a tiring experience up in the Italian mountains.
The food on the trip was superb, ranging from ice cream to pasta to pizza and of course other Italian delicacies - like more ice cream!!!
To round it all off I would like to say that it was an amazing experience for all of the boys, and it wouldn't have been possible without the effort put in by the members of staff. From all of the boys: Thank You!!!!!
