YEAR 5 TRIP TO ‘STOMP'
On Thursday 30th April, Year 5 went to see ‘Stomp' at the Ambassadors Theatre. It was a marvelous experience with the performers playing and dancing their hearts out!
The performers were incredibly funny and at more than one point the whole audience was laughing loudly. My favourite bit was when the performers were having a tea break and reading newspapers, one of them started to cough in time with the others, who were shaking their papers. Then another ripped his paper up into a bird shape and started squawking. It was hilarious.
The performers had to have an abundance of energy and also be immensely skilled; I doubt anyone in the audience could have enough stamina to perform for an hour and a half!
I really enjoyed the Year 5 trip to Stomp!

YEAR 5 JUNK WORKSHOP
It was a very enjoyable time playing all sorts of instruments. I thought they were a pile of junk which nobody could play except geniuses.

The junk music was awesome and I think I will remember it for the rest of my life. I love it so much I think I might take up making junk musical instruments.

It was incredible, who knew old bins could be drums and flip flops could be beaters.

The instruments were amazing. We found loads of junk, old pipes, gas tanks, bottles, wood, pieces of metal and even old dust bins. It was so good I've been inspired to make more junk instruments.
