Aims
This document summarises the aims of the School. All other policies and decisions should be judged against these aims.

- All pupils are equally valued and nurtured, irrespective of their abilities or any other consideration.
- Pupils are encouraged to achieve the highest possible academic standards for their age and ability. We provide high quality teaching of a curriculum which meets their needs and the requirements of the Common Entrance Syllabus and scholarship examinations.
- Boys are encouraged to participate in Art, Music and Drama to develop their artistic ability and appreciation and contribute to exhibitions, concerts and plays.
- Boys are encouraged to follow a programme of physical education to develop their fitness and agility, their understanding of a healthy life-style and their ability to work together in a team.
- The School promotes spiritual, moral, social, and cultural understanding, to develop good inter-personal relationships in school and in the wider community.
- The School is managed to use available manpower and monetary resources efficiently.
- A close partnership between the School and parents is fostered to co-ordinate the development of individual pupils.
